I just delivered the worst news ever.
“Because you do not have a back up of the contents of your hard drive, your data is lost and there is nothing we can do for you.”
Even though it is February and the time for New Year’s Resolutions is technically over, everyone please repeat after me:
“I promise to back up my hard drive every day.”
Ok, I am not sure you all really understand this so, right now, get a piece of paper and pencil – no – we’re not typing and we’re not copying and pasting, we are all writing this with pen and paper so that it is emblazoned on your brain:
Get the point?
An external hard drive is what, $50? $100? Is the contents of your Mac worth it? How about your journal entries, or your recipes? Are they worth $100?
It’s only 11AM here in Western Pennsylvania and I am already suffering from the heartburn of having to give someone such terrible news.
If this keeps up, I am going to need a case of Pepto Bismol® before the week is over.
